Singaporegrrl in Singapore

Whoa. It's been two and a half years since I've been to SG. That's a long ass time.

Some things have changed (what are they building over Orchard MRT station?) and some things have stayed the same, like the immigration officer at the airport who refused to respond to "Good morning" or "how are you?" or "thank you".

This dude is a visitor's first impression of the entire country. I guess they have the chatty immigration officers stationed at the "Other Passports" desks, so only Singapore Citizens get the silent treatment.

As we cleared immigration, I said to Ray, "welcome to flipping Singapore!"
